Welcome to Imperial & Riverside County!
Our Premium Southern California Recreational Acreage is located in both Imperial & Riverside Counties, California. Being located by, in, and around many desert mountain ranges, such as the Chuckwalla Mountains, we have dubbed this area our “Imperial & Riverside” acreage. Imperial’s premium acreage is south of the Interstate Highway 10 heading towards the city of Blythe, CA. Interstate 10 is one of the most important interstates between California and Arizona and beyond.
About Imperial & Riverside County
The Imperial & Riverside County area is adjacent to the Lower Colorado River Valley region. Plants include ocotillo, cholla, yucca, creosote, and barrel and foxtail cactus. Animal life includes the famous desert tortoise, hares, bighorn sheep, burro deer, raptors, snakes, coyotes and fox. The historic Bradshaw Trail also goes through our large desert area. The Bradshaw trail, nicknamed the Gold Road at one time, is an historic overland stage route in Southern California which originally connected San Bernardino to the gold fields in La Paz, AZ. In later years it was the first road connecting Riverside County to the Colorado River!
The Bradshaw Trail is now a 70-mile dirt road, periodically graded by the Riverside County Transportation Department. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended due to stretches of soft sand. The trail traverses mostly public land, and offers spectacular views of the Chuckwalla Bench and the Orocopia, Chuckwalla and Mule Mountains.

The Imperial & Riverside acreage area and the Black Hills have been known by rockhounds for decades. Both geodes and nodules often contain black fortification agate. Some contain waterline agate. Quite a number have white opalite cores. Some even have had pretty pink and raspberry colored opalite interiors.
The Salton Sea, nearby canals, and the Colorado River are famous for their abundance of marine life and water sports. You can catch everything from Striped bass to large mouth bass cat fish and lots of Blue gill. Spend the day riding the waves of these majestic waters.
